Good News for SASSA Beneficiaries SRD Increase Starts Disbursing April 2024
As per the announcement of the government, the SASSA beneficiaries are getting the SASSA SRD increase of R20 in their grant from Thursday 25 April 2024 till Monday 29 April 2024. Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana in his February 2024 budget speech, announced that for the first time SRD R350 recipients would start getting an increase of R20 from April 2024. The Social Relief of Distress is now R350 and the SASSA SRD increase starts disbursing from 25 April 2024.

You have to check your SASSA SRD R350 grant status online every month. Follow the below steps to check the status;
