Enter Your ID Number and Phone Number

As per the mandatory requirement, you have to enter your South African ID number and mobile number on this page.

Click on the tab “Send PIN”

After entering your credentials and rechecking them, click the button “Send PIN”.

Verify the “OTP”

SASSA will send a One Time Password (OTP) on your registered mobile number. Put this OTP in the tab of the opened bar on the website and click the “Verify” button.

Provide the Reason of Cancellation

After the verification of “OTP”, you will be directed to a new page. On this page, you have to choose the reason of cancellation of your grant previously. Following three options are given and you have to click on any one of them.

When you choose a suitable reason for cancellation, a pop-up will appear stating “Are you sure to reinstate the grant?”. Click “Yes” to reinstate your grant request.

Method: 2- Reinstate By Visiting SASSA Office
